Since 1866 the Ku Klux Klan has hit many highs and lows in their attempts to restore white military sort and their views on things feature in any case changed as well. But the single thing that has al flairs stayed the same is their hatred towards anyone other than the ones that remember in White Supremacy. The KKK is very interesting because of the fear that they have placed in many battalion during many major(ip) turning points in our nations history. I also find it interesting the KKK is still in existence because the feature that our nation is now like a huge run pot. But considering the circumstances that are at hand flop now with the elections and how there is a big possibility that our chairwoman might be black, this topic seems very interesting. I exigency to start out from the beginning of the KKK and see where they are now.
The Ku Klux Klan, KKK, front began in May of 1866 in the town of Pulaski, TN. The KKK started out as an underground terrorist group whose leaders were previous Confederate forces members. The Klan basic eithery started out as a small group of work force who wanted to complain about their problems that were caused from the war. It was an easy way to get away from everything that was happening at home and to reconcile some stress. Like today, many of the men that came to the meetings were poor, white men.



These men wanted to have their own costumes that would represent the Klan. Because they were poor they finalize to use white linens that would not only drape everywhere themselves, but their horses as well and wear pillow cases oer their heads. In the beginning the intention was to have a lesser fun at night by playing pranks people as means to get people to laugh. Unfortunately no one found anything they did to be humorous at all; the people were frightened by the men more than anything. In finding out that this scared people more than anything the Klan firm to grow from there and turn the tables on the soon-to-be free slaves that were head start to take over the South.
