In some cultures women play a prominent role where as in the Latin American culture women were al close to excluded from the arts, politics and economy. Women were basically viewed as machines. They were to patronise and rear the children and treated as second class citizens or even worse. Only recently have men begun to deal their presence and importance in their societies.
As a government issue of female involvement in the path of liberation, self-assertion and self-realization family size has gone down.
