African Americans experienced a great deal of sufferings in American history, but they still cant enjoy the deserve rights after the end of slavery. They be also the American citizens, and wherefore they were deprived of the basic rights? So I think population should fight for the abolishment of segregation.
The Civil Rights Movement was a branch of the whole actions, which aimed to abolish the segregation. I feel astonished to know that the African Americans were so united and persistent in their boycotts and rag -ins at that time. At the same time, desegregation is advantageous in many aspects. For the African Americans, they achieved their goals and won respect of whole country even the world; for the white people, they gave up prejudice and are forgiven by their fellowmen; for the US, the unity and harmony of people is beneficial to the knowledge of the country. In short, desegregation is good not only to the people but also to the country.
