Othello - Analysis of Iago's Motives

Othello is a tragedy written by William Shakespe ar, Poet and Playwright, in the 1600?s. Iago is a major character pivotal to the story?s effect and development. He is the main antagonist of the play, plainly not gross(a) offensive; displaying multiple personality traits including villainous, jocular, and deceptive qualities amalgamating into an identity in widely distri thoed perceived to be wicked. His basic aim is to destroy the lives of Othello and to a certain extent, Cassio (any other lives that are also affected are a bonus).
